Medium ruby color. Aromas of black plum, forest floor and graphite on the nose. Dark berry/plum fruit on the palate with notes of mushroom and sweet spices. Nice touch of oak on the (a bit short) finish. Medium bodied and quite juicy. Slightly grainy tannins. From the North Shore House Wine Pairing Dinner on March 9, 2024.
