This couldn’t have been more different than the CUNE, despite being from the same region and only a year younger. Where the CUNE was delicate this was punchy. Ballerina versus a heavyweight. Really, really good. I’d love to get more from this producer.

Surprisingly full flavored Rioja with rich Red fruit and hints of minerality. Long lingering aftertaste. Had with a basque lunch and enjoyed immensely 🍷

Great nose and body. Fruit and a bit of truffle earthiness. Great right out of the bottle thru to the end. Had more of a wow at the start. Here's to the special Sauce, Eric!

This has a very strong start, unlike the 09, but evaporates into a very nice balanced finish. I love this vintner, and will be back for more. Delicious!
