A blend of predominately Monastrell with Cab Sauv, aromas of concentrates fruits, spice and smoky oak notes. On the palate dark berry and plum flavors adding some cacao, cinnamon and oak. Fine tannins, nice structure, medium finish ending with sweet smoky oak character. Nice value.

Light but with lots of flavor. Notes of plumb, cinnamon, leather and tobacco. Very tasty with no bitter notes.

Had a 1/2 glass of this with my other slice of pizza. Better than the Quilt Cab, at 1/3 of the price. Reminder to self, you don't always get what you paid for.

Nice purple color with a mix of bloody red. A bit cloudy. Nose is very plummy dominated with some leather, and rustic metal. Taste shows some leather, some cocoa, some sweet oak, some tobacco leaves, a hint of bitter note, peppery, and in fact a bit salty. Overall, the wine is average with good plum note, and peppery, but the fragrance and flavors are not really standing out. Some cherry jam and nice oaky flavors after another of breathing though.
