Bodegas Castaño
Solanera Viñas Viejas Yecla Red Blend
Fitting title for drinking alone. It’s a good wine, for exactly what I’m doing right now. Sipping while doing some work on my own, no food necessary.

The dark ruby '12 Bodegas Castaño Monastrell Blend Viñas Viejas 'Solanera' emitted energetic aromas of smoky minerals, incense and dark fruits and violets. Dense, mouth-filling flavors of blueberry pie and brown spice were next. Supple tannins gained increasing strength with air and ended with a juicy, spicy sweet persistent finish.
