2009, Casado Morales, Seleccion Privada Reserva Rioja Alavesa, Tempranillo. The Rioja representative in my comparative Tempranillo tasting. This is actually a Reserva bottling. Well integrated oak, lower alcohol, no noticeable tannins, lots of primary fruit. This is really drinking well and a good pair with spicy paella.
