Nov 16th, 2017A remarkable wine. Faintly sweet lemon, grapefruit and wintersweet blossoms give way to sweet chamomile and apple flavors.

This is delicious. Hot, not overly sweet, dry. Taste almost like a dessert wine to me! I wish I bought two of this bottle and not just one!

Mar 1st, 2017Petit Manseg/Sauvignon Gris. GOLD. Pear, apple sauce, corn, wheat, yeast, vanilla, peach, oak, caramel, moth balls. It tastes like an attic full of old sweaters. It is full bodied and super weird. Made for the adventurous Chardonnay drinker. This is a white wine that can stand up to meat!

Feb 23rd, 2016This is a powerful wine that has the ability to take me away to a place full of the nectar of any tropical fruit I could imagine, endless servings of creme brulee and the smell of a wood fire, just put out, smoldering underneath everything. This effort from Uruguay deserves a standing ovation and I urge all the sweet wine drinkers to take a step out on the wild side and check out my homeboy Carrau and his family wine. You won't be disappointed!
