Cocoa, dark berries, dusty tannins, good acidity and a little pepper. Really nice after a couple days.

A Cab Sauv & Argie Malbec blend. 14.5% but the alcohol is well balanced with the other elements, resulting in a velvety mouth feel and good finish.

Deep ruby color with aromas of red fruit with dark edges. This 70% Malbec / 30% Cabernet Sauvignon reveals flavors of raspberries, plums with a blackberry spice tang. The wine is considerably smooth in delivery with balanced tannins and acid. The finish shows a nice rush of oak with some earthy notes, medium in length. A nice value for a drink now blend.

Before knowing what the percentages were [70% malbec and 30% cab] I called this malbec dominant, as the nose and the palate just scream the Argentinian grape. Shoe leather, licorice, dark, muddled fruits abound on the nose while the palate offers up slightly brighter, more tart flavors with loads of black tea tannins and big alcohol. Perhaps this wine will go better with food and I'm wrong for just drinking it after work, but I'm just not that impressed.

A really good value Cab-Malbec. Dark fruit, plum skins, cedar and spice.

Didn't realize I had bought a Malbec - Cab mix. Was surprised when I tasted it. Good.

Love the square sided bottle and top. Very average wine. Much better options from Argentina. Surprised Catena's name is on it.
