2008 Vintage- very solid Rioja. Not as sweet and stood up to lobster, Ribeye, and pork belly ramen. Good, good bottle

Mmm. Really enjoyed the acidity in this. Crisp and lively.

Overall, light and bright. Slightly sweet, almost tropical fruit (think: white grape juice-based tropical punch), quickly fades to citrus / more structured middle, and then mild acid over woody/grainy notes. Paired with light Chinese, but would work as an accompaniment to fish, chicken, salad, etc. Likely good alone, too.
