Dark see thru ruby color and Old School nose of leather, Earth, pepper, floral, orange peel, vanilla, wood, and some red fruit. Definitely showcasing tertiary aromas. Med to light on palate, fairly decent acidity and bit thin on texture & flavors. rustic - astringent finish. Paired this w/some smoked turkey salad I made and it was just OK. Appreciate traditional approach - table wine quality.

Had the 2014 in august of 2021. Really nice Rioja. Nice fruits and the hint of oak leaves a sweetness that lingers. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
