Deep Ruby red color with aromas of black and red fruit, with a soft cedar fragrance. This 100% Tempranillo wine, from 100-Year Old vines, was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. On the palate flavors of ripe red cherries, dried fruit, cacao, spice and tobacco. The wine still has plenty of acidity and soft round tannins, well structured. Full-bodied, long finish ending with some oak and earthy mineral ending. Very nice, drink now!

The wine showed plenty of acidity and round tannins, giving the wine good structure. This full-bodied wine had a long finish leaving with some oak and earthy mineral ending. A Pleasure! Still has room to age!

Ample, tasty, long, stylish powerful and round. A wine that amazes due to its many nuances, marked diversity and concentrated nobility. At least, that’s what the label says; I still need to try it. @Anthony De Blasi

Paired with lamb lollipops. Was perfect! Complimented the lamb fat nicely. Cedar chest, cherries, strawberries, and crisp new dollar bills!

Apr 11th, 2017Oh what a treat! 2008 full of tobacco, smoke, fire and super-soft spice on the nose and in the mouth. Beautiful dark purple with long slow legs in the glass. Aged in white American oak for 22 months, bottled in 2010. Lovely!
