Tres Picos Campo de Borja Garnacha

Leather, floral perfume. Seemed older than its years. Probably past its prime.

Glass staining purple! A heady nose of clove, dried fig and blackberry. Mouthwatering dried cherries, candies flowers, Asian spices and a touch of black olive over deliver in a big way. Dark fruit and smoke echo long into the night. Another great vintage in a long line of smash hits. And a great value to boot!

Nose literally leaps out of the glass and hits you in the face with sweet spices and black fruit. On the palette it's more spices, more inky dark berries and a super subtle dustysmoky thing happening near the finish. For $15? Holy shit.

Dark, deep nose. Tobacco, plum.

This has to be one of my favourite wines as so distinctive. A go-too wine for any occasion.

Vivid aroma with deep purple color. Cherries and tobacco predominant on the finish, low acidity is noticeable from the first sip. A very soft red, preferable for those who typically don't drink them, I would think.

Nice cassis touch.
Full body, slightly acidic.
At its peak

This wine had good balance with a good mi of fruit and earth. Can't beat it for the price.
