Maybe the cork went bad but this was one of the worst wines and absolute worst Tempranillo I’ve ever had

Nice and fruity. Quite a crowd pleasing wine. But nothing out of ordinary. Have a soft cornee for Beronia though.

Fruity!!!

Really enjoyed this 2014 Rioja Tempranillo. Good amount of spice to it, while remaining really smooth. Comes in at around $15.

Tempranillo comes from the Spanish word "temprano" ("early"), as they ripen several weeks before other grapes. It's been used in the Spanish Peninsula since the Phoenicians first settled there.

Wife liked it. I thought it was okay. I tend to be the one who is right.

Nice fresh fruity nose with hints of liquorice. Interesting palate with fresh fruits combining well with a cigar flavour. Medium bodied with little to no tannins.
