Sourced from one of the oldest vineyards planted in Valdeorras, Avancia. Godello was almost extinct at the end of the 1980s, so it is extremely rare to find a Godello produced from a single vineyard planted in 1904. Pale golden color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and spice notes, fermented in oak on its lees for 10 months. On the palate flavors of peach, ripe apple and lemon citrus with floral spice. Long finish ending with fruit, subtle oak and mineral character. Nice!

Loved this. Great weight and creaminess on the palate with beautiful floral notes on the nose. Really lovely

Wow. An intensity from the ABV is carried elegantly and seamlessly. Reminds me of a top notch condrieu.

Pair with a whole charcoal grilled turbot in Getaria and bust a nut.

Considering the price and that others have gushed over this I feel a bit dissatisfied with this Spanish white.
A bit floral and definitely mineral in the nose. Medium-high acid, hi alcohol, chalky, citrusy. No unique characteristics that I can pick out. I would have a real hard time identifying this one, might think it's a very young sancerre.
100% godello.
