Jan 27th, 2021Very dark and dense color, much higher quality fruit than Juan Gil, hints of damp earth and graphite reminiscent of right bank Bordeaux. Tastes complete and united at this point in time, very modern and polished but not superficial. Has a sense of purpose and direction not common in a large scale commercial wine and the blunt style is infinitely preferable to overly fussy winemaking.

Jan 25th, 2020Initially very smooth on the front-end and bitter on the back-end. Aeration distributed the taste to be delivered more consistently throughout. Overall, could take it or leave it. Paired well with a garlic cheddar cheese.
