Sep 29th, 2020Buttered popcorn, ripe blackberries, almond extract, cherry cola, uncooked bread dough, hints of cinnamon, dill, and fresh picked capers in the bouquet. Sweet plums, stewed blackberries, black cherry with notes of fresh sticky white rice and clay and the faintest but not troubling hint of bell pepper on the palate. Finish a bit thin but scratchy tannins linger nicely. Great value, definitely one of the more interesting wines I’ve tried lately.

Sep 16th, 2020Nose of meat, cherry, and plum. Tannic and flavorful. Juicy cherry, raspberry, and perhaps a hint of earth and grass. Opens into a smooth, juicy fruit forward sip. Really nice!
