World class Mendoza Malbec. Real secondary aromas here, like clay, damp earth, and that intriguing brett you get in mature Bordeaux. Sure there is plenty of alcohol, but I'm intrigued to enjoy a 2nd glass... perhaps a 2nd bottle... Well made.

Had in BA, has the feel of an aged Rioja minus the vanilla/obvious wood. Deep brick red. A subtle, well made 10yro cab sauv, not as gamey as one would believe. An insane deal for less than 12$.

New world Cabernet with fruit forward from Mendoza. Ripe red fruit, leather but lacks of minerality. Still lots of tannin for a 2006. Finally summer is here in Canada!

Interesting Cab! Still quite "woody" at 10 years with an unusual "I just liked a cigar" taste. Should smooth out with some more time in the decanter.
