This was just bonkers. Purchased recently for $13. Dark but translucent ruby in color and laden with acid on the pop and pour. In the decanter it colored up and shut down. For hours it displayed this deep but slightly standoffish core of black currant fruit, limestone, cedar, tobacco and spice box but with enough fruit to say New World. This could have aged another decade. Amazing.

I know, I know. Argentinian Malbec is a little pedestrian. You know, all this Jammy fruit, Oak, alcohol and lack of structure. So if that's how you feel, and you don't know this wine, you might want to check it out.

World class Mendoza Malbec. Real secondary aromas here, like clay, damp earth, and that intriguing brett you get in mature Bordeaux. Sure there is plenty of alcohol, but I'm intrigued to enjoy a 2nd glass... perhaps a 2nd bottle... Well made.

Had in BA, has the feel of an aged Rioja minus the vanilla/obvious wood. Deep brick red. A subtle, well made 10yro cab sauv, not as gamey as one would believe. An insane deal for less than 12$.

Great structure at a great price. Feels like there’s some cab franc in there as well, but balanced. 12 years down, probably longevity for 8 more.

Got it during sale and it seems to be spoiled already. Shame! It seems like a good wine based on the ratings.
