Bodega Viña Mambrilla
Alidis Gran Reserva Tempranillo
I reviewed this Tempranillo some time ago. Tonight this wine just popped with dark fruit layered with smooth oak overtones. Similar to Napa Cabs at fraction of the cost. Not going to say that this drinks like a $50 wine like a competing wine shop bragged about, but at $12 it drinks like a a good $20 Cali Cab.

Sep 25th, 2015I had the 2011, not sure it's the grand reserva as it does not say it anywhere on the bottle but the label is identical to the wine101 review. My review is meh... not that great. Smell is meh, taste is meh. Nice tannins and fruit, pretty well balanced but the overall flavor is nothing to write home about. It tastes like a cheap wine bc that's what it is. I wish it tasted like a 20 dollar cab, I would buy a case. I got it at Costco so I'm guessing it wasn't very expensive so I guess for a cheap wine it may serve you well. Definitely drinkable and better than a sharp stick in eye. Cheers.
