Organica Mendoza Malbec

Very light Malbec. Yummy but certainly not complex. ♦️

Fruity and smooth

Somewhat dry, simple, acidic, floral, tart, not much to it, summer picnic wine

Pale straw color.
Aromas of peach, honeysuckle, honey.
Dry. Flavors of peach, apricot, honeysuckle, orange blossom, honey. Bursting with flavor!

Dark cherry, blackberry, oak

Needed a couple minutes to open up in my glass. A pretty good malbec, but missing some of the depth of flavor I have from my favorites. I remember preferring a previous vintage of the conventional "Santa Julia [+]" edition. But this is alright.

Full of dark fruit and lovely with a prime rib dinner.

Lovely malbec

Slightly weak-bodied for a malbec, but really nice with food. Dark coffee, raisin, and plum.

One of my least favorite wines I've ever had. My wife agreed. Surprised by the high ratings here but maybe we should have waited a year or two to drink the 2017 vintage. Not interested in drinking again.
