Spritly spritzy. Pineapple and tropical fruit aromas. But deceivingly stony and chalky palate. Very fun and drinkable

Rezabal is a family owned winery located in the Basque country of Spain in Zarautz and belonging to PDO "Getariako Txakolina". Made from Hondarribi-Zuri grape, pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits noticing a light spritz in the glass. On the palate flavors of apple and lemon citrus, vivid acidity, low alcohol. Medium finish ending with fruit and mineral character.

No formal notes .. Pale colour with quite a spritz on first pour . Quite fresh and herbaceous , touch of green pepper and grassy notes . Light and fresh on the palate with a lime pith bitterness on the finish , quite appetising and food friendly .

Pink orange color and visible carbonation. Peach, citrus, grapefruit on the nose. The palate is immediately interesting with a frizzante feel and good flavour intensity of peach skin, grapefruit; it’s got this this fresh green bell pepper note… Plus salinity, high acidity, medium body, a low alcohol feel, and a medium mineral (ash like) finish. Chose this Txakolina for the seven course maíz and fish meal at Pujol. Rating from that angle the wine was a great accompaniment as some of it’s components were found in the food itself. Cheers.

Fantastic value for a beautiful, dry, mineral driven white. Perfect for an apartif!
