Sweet start but a bold finish. Sharp taste of acidity. The wine is very big with hints of tomato, tobacco and lemon. Very interesting wine. $17. Good wine for the price.

1 person found it helpfulMar 19th, 2017Clear, deep purple in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, bell peppers, and baking spices; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blueberries, plums, tar, and clay pots with a short finish. This wine is intense and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as good. I think it needs to breath a little. The fruit intensified after a 30-minute decant. Nellie likes it too
