Privada Mendoza Malbec Blend

I remember the first time I had the wine it was better

Heavy on the front, light on the back. Spicy black fruits. A bit of anise and cloves. Lacks some character in my opinion, but most people like that.

Dry, high acidity, medium tannins, raspberries. Alcohol burn is noticeable. Medium length and complexity.

Beastly wine. Huge dark fruit, black cherry, lots of smoky barrel, heavy tannin, herbs, prunes and chocolate. Over the top for me but I can appreciate. Day 2, way too pruny.

Beautiful blend from Norton, nicely balanced, plenty of fruit, smooth finish. Big and bold wine, would be great with a steak right now, too bad I already ate :)

Saved this 2012 for a few years! Great full bodied, had it with steak. Low tannins and low acidity, coffee, bold, simply spectacular. Had it 09/2020.

These continue to get better. Dark fruit with a pleasant dusting of fresh cracked black pepper.
