Vino de la Tierra El Terrerazo Bobal

Bigger than previous Bobals that I’ve had. Peppery and rich. Drinks lighter than the 15% alcohol suggests.

Full throttle nose with notes of engine oil and concentrated fresh black fruit, sweet liquorice and smoked meat with a touch of paprika to it. Palate doesn't disappoint and there is lots to like here with the big, ballsy black fruit balanced by a touch of char black chocolate. There is an acidity that keeps this lifted where it could easily cloy.

Bobal with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot. Very nice value here for under $20.

This seemed a touch off. I couldn't place my finger on it. I've had this wine several times before and really enjoyed it.
