Picarana Albillo

Complex nose, lotsa texture, feels like the wine as a bit of residual sugar while it doesn’t. Get your fancy pairings on.

Cool wine

Picarana is the “village” white, made with Albillo Real or Albillo de Madrid (completely different from Albillo Mayor found in Ribera del Duero) from different sites around San Martín de Valdeiglesias. White fruit, floral notes. Round, quite ripe, moderate acidity.

Nutty with dried herbs, ripe pear and a oily texture. Nicely done.

Very good. Good acid. A little sweet on the front of the mouth with mineral scent and very dry finish. Yum.

Excellent Spanish wine from the area near Madrid. A lot of minerality, good acidity not too fruity.
