Oh what a vintage does!

This baby has changed in 2016. At first taste, spritzy and dark raspberry. I let it decant for a bit, and it does not disappoint. Herbs, spicy mid palate, dried red fruit wrapped in thyme and parsley (no joke). Fiercely good. Not as massively tannic as last vintage but lovely. Would love to track through the next couple years.

This really is one of my favorite and most enjoyable wines .... was shared with wonderful friends and paired with delicious food!!

Took an hour to open up. Just delicious. I’m going to try more Uruguay wines.

easy to drink and juicy

Round red raspberries and dark cherries, unsweetened dark chocolate, and a touch of plum. Medium acidity. Really came alive with some spicy beef tacos.

Dracula’s blood on Halloween. Deep rich nose beautiful oak upfront nice balanced tannins. First taste of wine from Uruguay and I’m on board for more

First sip had lost of spice all the way through and then it evened out after. Very good

What an amazing surprise! Lovely fruity dry red wine. Needs food. Pairs well with sirloin.

Smokey, bitter, punchy. Delicious but needs a big dish to stand up to it
