Dark color, soft an after taste with hints of old oak barrel, it is an excellent blend... Garnacha, Tintorera, Graciano and the great taste of Malbec and Cabernet Franc grapes. We are enjoying this wine with a good plate of spinach Ravioli with tomate sauce.

Wow. Tastes like cab sauv but not a drop here. Big, bold, tolerable tannins, dark fruit, delish. Nothing subtle here. But I went back for a case. Nothing better for 11.95.

2009 Malbec, Garnacha Tintoreta, Syrah, Graciano, and Cab Franc. Purple black, a nose like raspberry infused cedar, smoked grape leaves, a weird whiff of absinthe-rinsed blackberry, smooth, though leaves you wearing a tannin mouthpiece. Clove, cinnamon, turmeric, oolong and burnt toast. Subterranean sludge covered moor rocks!! Tones down to allow plum and vanilla.

Lots of flavor. I had it with cured meats and it tasted great.

The relative superiority of Spanish wines continues. This wine is a blend of Syrah and Grenache - two of my favorites - plus some Cab Franc. Smooth, supple, moderate weight in the mouth. Almost creamy. It was great with my steak but even better now after. Very more-ish. I adore it. While it's soft and sweet it has enough tannin to back it up. Balance is the key word here. Marvelous wine.
