Michel Rolland first went to Argentina in 1988 and fell in love with the country so he and Jean-Michel Arcaute, a winegrower from Pomerol founded a winery. A blend of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Bright purple with aromas of dark fruit oak and spice. The palate shows rich black fruit, blackberries and blueberries and pepper spice. Notes of tobacco and leather with slight cacao tones and good acidity. Slight oak notes, firm tannins on a medium fresh finish. Nice value.

Very smooth, full bodied wine. Nice aroma of berries, and having a mild spiciness at the end of the sip. Very pleasant and great relaxing wine with your good old friend.

Nice wine, as usual, doesn't disappoint! Very smooth and not that woody, light but with personality and good finishing. Was nice to pair w the chicken and seafood pasta we had, in a hot summer indoor dinner.
