Licorice, cherry, black currant, a bit of oak too. Superb palate with a strong acid drive, some nice cherry and currant notes, a nice width with matter on the sides, grainy, joyful tannins which tend to dry a bit a very long finish with fruit, meat juice, a tiny but of salt and a subtle bitterness. It would have been better with food but that's a great tasting experience by itself

Delicious. Complex full bodied.. one of the most interesting and enjoyable wines I’ve had in a while (& ever from Italy!)
