Dark fruit. Some sort of jam, cooking, warmness thing going on. Not toast or smoke but not fresh fruit either. The wine feels pretty lively though the age is noticeable.

Lovely right now, smashing at ~$20/btl. Red apple skin, kirsch, crushed morello cherry, cooked red plums, black tea, rose petals, cinnamon, licorice root, beef, and sage blossoms. Loads of sandy mineralty throughout, at its fruity/savory/earthy sweet spot right now.

2012 vintage. Bright and beautifully red berry scented, this elegant interpretation highlights roasted herbs and meaty additions. Medium-bodied, juicy and fresh, very dry and chalky with youthful tannins and positively tart fruit. Give it a few more years.

A delicious Gredos garnacha made by the inimitable team at Comando G for Vila Viniteca in Barcelona. Properly, its part of VV's Uvas Felices project that collaborates with top bodegas around España, and not a Comando G wine. However if you like the latter's la Bruja de Rozas you will love this. Balanced, bright, fresh and mineral driven with a funky kiss goodbye. 🌹⛰️
