Bodega Cicchitti
Malbec
Really a racehorse. Brushed black coat on this muscular and majestic animal. Pure fruits and expressive additions. Clean nose of strawberry leaf, perfectly ripe plum, accented by ripe black currant there is grilled steak trailing. Luscious entry with bold flavors of blackberry, cherry and violets. Heavenly night-mare with fire in its eye.

Dark ruby in color with a brick rim.
Interesting nose of blackberries, bourbon, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, cloves, earth, black currants, leather, green pepper, chocolates, sweet herbs and black pepper.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, over ripe strawberries, earth, leather, spices, peppercorn, mint, tart cranberries, tobacco, vanilla, oak and pencil lead.
Full bodied with medium acidity and nice long legs.
Medium plus in finish with big, firm tannins and tart cherries.
Good quality Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Complex with a nice mouthfeel. Nice and balanced now, and can benefit from 2 more years in the bottle.
Good by itself or with food, like grilled beef.
90 points Wine Advocate.
14% alcohol by volume.

Bit oxidized looking. Smells of cranberry sauce and potpourri. Tart and bordering on vinegar-y. A hint of that candied and fruity Malbec element in there. Tiny bit of funk as well. It’s not held up to aging very well. Strange and past it’s prime (whatever that may have been).
