Has old-world style to it but is lighter than the bouquet lets on. Had this side by side with a Trumpeter Malbec of the same price, but the Nicasia Blend stood out. In Buenos Aires .... the 2015 vintage in April 2018

Tell the world Johnny...Nicasa blend has bite...you tell the world Johnny.
A tad sweet on the aftertaste, but some nice bite.

The wine has been open for an hour now, it's transformed from a thin fruity wine into a deep, complex glass. Ruby Red with clarity and translucence, thin but with good structure, red cherry, cranberry, elegant. 13.1% alcohol, 90% malbec, 6% cab sav, 4% petit verdot

Smelled spicy and at first I thought it would be heavy on the tannins but it ended up being velvety smooth and mild. Beautiful wine.
