Fortuna Terrae Vino De Parcela Adrianna Vineyard Malbec
Fortuna Terrae means luck of the land in Latin, aged in oak for 18 months, deep inky Ruby color with complex aromas of berry fruits, floral, herbs and spicy nose. On the palate flavors of ripe blueberry and cherry fruit with spicy herb, cacao, vanilla and toasty oak. Fine soft chalky tannins, well balanced, good acidity, long finish, almost creamy, ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Will last for a decade!!

100pt wine I believe from Suckling. Not sure. But this is f@&king delicious!!! "Old School" in every sense of the word. Virgil is like the Michaelangelo of South America, and this is one of the masterpieces atop the Sistine Chapel!

A chilled aromatic display with cold blackberries, blueberries, plums, intense floral notes of violets with lavender, licorice, scorched earth, and stone dust. Elegant mouth feel, an almost weightless mid bodied red with intense saline mineral notes that seem to offer a nice cool chill on the palate, delicate dark and blue fruit flavors with a slight savory midpalate and a long lingering finish with subdued torrefact notes and fine grained tannins. This is highly refreshing, so delicate and floral contrary to many a Malbec.

Mar 21st, 2024What a great wine Malbec can make. Fantastic nose with loads of ripe red fruit. In the mouth sweet and that cherry acidity. Finish is very long. Can benefit from a few hours decant. 2014 vintage in January 2024.

Explosively floral in the glass. The oak is so incredibly well integrated, there is scarcely an indication of its time in new oak, dense rich fruit, velvety tannins, opulent and delicious.
