Gorgeous wine. Small producer in Rioja. Had this at El Portal which is a two star. Price.... 40eur so think less than 30eur retail. Come on at a two star!

Fantastic young Rioja... Truly special. Best non-reserve I have has yet! Had it at Echebarri in the Basque Country mountains on the way to San Sebastián, southeast of Bilbao - a 1-star restaurant that cooked everything over encina and grapevine wood - unbelievable, smoky flavors!
