I struggle here as I find myself wanting to like the wine as they're trying to make something that I don't think others are trying in the Okanagan. This wine is lemon-a-plenty with a dose of what my tasting companion calls "hay-puddle". There's certainly a whiff of oak on the nose here which immediately tells us the wine maker is trying something here. The acidity is pronounced as well. I think a great food pairing will be absolutely crucial when showcasing this wine, and I'd tend to a creamy, truffle-oily pasta number in this case. With the right pairing, this wine could be very well-received. Just don't screw up the pairing. This would challenge a chef.

Overall, fairly bland Sauvignon Blanc. Some citrus, grapefruit on the nose, but very subtle. Nice mouth feel, but too subdued for me. More flavour when it wasn't as cold.

A great sauv blanc. Good full fruit flavour in the mouth, with good acidity throughout. Prominent, well balanced flavours; zesty and citrus-focused.
