Excellent 2016 Red! The perfect house merlot. Unpretentious and accessible at $3.99 on sale at Costco. It’s the new “$2 buck chuck.” Just double the price. Smooth!

Nice smell on the nose of blackberry. Clear complexion for a merlot. Plum and raspberry scent from the glass. Medium acidity and light body but very fruity. Medium finish. Not too bad for someone who rarely drinks reds.
