Cocoa, blackberries, mint and tart cherry notes on the palette. Juicy cab franc. High acidity balanced with good length. A delight with steak.

I get dark Rd fruit from this on the nose, like blackberries, cherries and currants. On first sip, bit acidic, and punch of tannins. Cherries and blackberries come through. Not much spice notes are coming through. Feels Abit young. Underwhelming overall.

Yum. Wow. I’m not generally a fan of Cabernet franc but this is just delicious. Nice complexity. Plums. Great with our roast beef meal.

Has a smoky nose. On first sip, oh boy, so much going on. It feels very balanced. Spice forward. Some vanilla, and cherry and blackberry. Not to much tannins. Like it's a good cab franc. Full bodied.

A ripe example which may actually be to its detriment for those who enjoy a little more cray cray in their Cabernet Franc. That said, with its balanced red and black fruit and cocoa-y character, this wine could easily be described as elegant. It actually reminded me of the fad a few years back around "chocolate ports". Anyway, there is certainly quality here and much like any and all wines that derive from the Sumac Ridge heritage, this would definitely be a crowd pleaser.
