Kite's Rest Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

Pale ruby. Red fruit, cranberry, ripe raspberry, black cherry, sweet dried fruit. Cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate- tart red berries, possible residual sugar. Bitter and lean. M- acid/body. Short finish. Extremely fruit forward. New world wine.

Almost like a grenache, a but high in alc.

Laying this down for four years really made a difference. Drinking great. Rich. Layered. Get dark berries, clove, cola, white pepper, a little anise.

Beautiful balance of fruit and tannin. Very nicely structured. A lovely Anderson Pinot.

Fruit driven Pinot, very acidic.

Intense Pinot with tons of structure.

Sharp and intelligent...like a kite

Be patient. Give this wine 10-15 minutes to settle down in the glass. Light fruit, mostly the dark dried stuff. Nice, subtle finish
