Of all the boxed Pinot Grigios I’ve tried (sentence I never thought I’d use yet here we are) this one gets top marks for good texture, and not trying to be anything besides its friendly easy going self.

We don't normally go for a box wine, but we tasted this and thought it had good flavor for the value. Something to enjoy at the end of the day that goes with with almost anything ... 3 liter box for $17 at Kroger.

This PG is very light, with only the slightest hint of apple and pear. It is well rounded and food friendly, much better than your average box wine.

Bought this to make chicken Marbella on marthastewart.com’s recommendation. Seems good to cook with but boring to drink. Almost no smell; low acidity; light body; smooth texture/mouthfeel; low tannins; light finish. The whole thing seems so light as to be watery. Maybe good for day drinking.

Tasted really acidity going down, but left a pleasant after taste that was fruity and quite surprising. Would not buy again as I want a sipping wine and this is not it.

Good but too dry for my taste. Will stick to the Riesling. 12.5%
