Back fruit, flecks of pepper, a smokiness, bacon fat. Cult in fine form.

More Hermitage than Shiraz on the nose, but "thicker" than expected.

My first ever wine from this producer. I'm impressed. I suspect that comes as no surprise to my wine-geek buddies.

2013-Spot on, animal, focused, tight, jubilant, cracked pepper

All savory/meaty/smoky/mentholated Syrah. Didn't have a lot of fruit but it was really fun.

Fruit, pepper. Quite a bit of sediment in the bottle.

Structured, early zest- effervescence that sits down pretty quick. Pink peppercorn, real grenadine, cured meat (prosciutto). Weird one but not that weird. Very nice.

Very fresh and bright. Unusual for Aussie Syrah. This could have been great , but the spritz from a secondary ferment was a big distraction
