A truly lovely and elegant wine. Australian CS, deep dark color, lovely nose full of black current, cherries, wet soil, cedar, mint and figs, full body, very balanced and elegant, with round and smooth tannins, that opened up over time and great balancing acidity, truly elegant and complex. My score 90, drink to 2019

This was quite a surprise. While not the giant backbone you’d expect from a Cali cab, it had a nice Viscosity on the pallet and a longer finish. The tannins not fully integrated for its age, with a higher acidity level. Drank more like a Bordeaux blend.

Loved this - perfect with rare beef. A real smoothness to it.

Bought at auction so no idea about how it's been stored. Appears to be past its best with the slight sharpness and sourness in the finish, but not by much. Dark fruit, nice tannin structure and decent length. Pretty good.

This reminded me of some of the best of the best of the Coonawarra. A lot of menthol and fresh mint supporting that lush ripe fruit
