Big Table Farm
Willamette Valley Chardonnay
Monthly guys group wine meet-up. No theme tonight aside from “it better be good”.
Lemon meringue, baked citrus, brioche and cheese on the nose. Rich. Apricot preserves. Nice acidity. Pineapple finish.

Honeysuckle, thick with lees, cinnamon. Would benefit from more acid.

Wild yeast fermented and aged in concrete, it's exceptionally well balanced, endowed with an incredible range of aromas—lemon tart, buttered croissant, cardamom and clove, serrano ham and lilting white flowers. I love the texture in this beguiling and thoughtful wine, there is too, vivid freshness and coursing minerality, traits that tends to be amplified by concrete aging.
