The 2017 'Earth' Pinot Noir is a barrel selection wine made by the talented Brian Marcy. As the wine slowly unwinds in the glass, it unveils perfumed aromatics of copious red fruits that come together with peat moss and shades of fresh white truffle on this expressive nose. The palate reveals a wonderfully silky texture that coats the mid-palate leaving begind flavors of red currant jelly, wild blackberry cordial, peat moss and suggestions of cigar ash which all mingle brilliantly. While utterly delicious now, this seductive, yet well-balanced Pinot Noir should continue to cellar marvelously over the next fifteen plus years. Drink 2019-2035- 95

Absolutely fantastic - bright lively nose of raspberry, potpourri, and black tea. Focused structure and silk tannins, showcasing red currant and smoked clove notes on the palate. Stunning wine..deffs gonna be my Thanksgiving Pinot!

Plush and ripe, but shows some good restraint to the dark cherry flavor. Not too big.

This is really good. Black cherry, strawberry with an earthy edge, perhaps a small amount of stem. Long and ripe but not too ripe. Black fruit flavors with some flannel tannins. Would like to revisit in another 10 yrs.
