By itself, u may be disappointed, but with some good BBQ it works pretty well. Ruby red with spice, oak, and cherry aromas. It’s got a spice note, grapey jammy flavors, and a minor bit on the finish. Worked well with our Burgundy Peppered Tri-tip for dinner.

Really enjoyed this, jammy and bourbon barrel aged adds a nice spice. Good mid priced wine.

Happy National Wine Day, kiddies! I thought it imperative to drink something 'Merican today, and what could be more so than wine aged in barrels which originally housed the preeminent American spirit? No, not Applejack, but good point; I meant the other American spirit. This is ok; oak, a little whiskey but a bit astringent.
