Santa Cruz Mountains Syrah

Got better with every sip. Gravel, violets, and cranberries.

Meh, didn't like it as much as we remembered. Not worth the 9 yr wait, but ok. Paired with pistachio encrusted rack of lamb.

raspberry, blueberry, black cherry, blackberry, iron, blood, pepper, pencil shavings, briny black olive, alpine freshness, salinity. kinda green and snappy still. everything you want in a cooler climate syrah!

Medium ruby color. Aromas of fresh violets, cranberry and crushed rocks. Bright cherry, blueberry and a floral finish.

Yum. No tannins, delicious dry and a hint of acid.

Dark purple / red color. Definitely some vegetal notes on the nose. Medium -bodied with moderate finish. Some pepper notes associated with Syrah do shine through.

Sold. Alban Syrah clones. Co fermented with Viognier. And a splash of Alban Grenache. Wowser.

Cool climate, Viognier coferment and just beautiful. Perfect with some beef stew last night!

Great Syrah. Balanced but dark expressive fruit.
