Dec 12th, 2019This is easily my favorite Bevan wine. Gobs of fruit but short of overt sweetness. Relatively fine tannins. Dark fruits, cocoa. The best part is a graphite/tar note that emerges late with a nice acidity.

Dec 9th, 20192nd best 11 I’ve had . Next to the 11 Schrader To-Kalon . 11’ Bevan Harrison. Close to a PnP. Needs to open up in the glass for 20-30 minutes. Blueberries, abundance of black fruit, licorice, leathery notes, light acidity. Fantastic 11’.

Nov 22nd, 2019Last bottle I had gave me the impression that this was on the decline. Not the case at all.

Sep 15th, 2019Monthly WTF wine group meet up. Theme was “bring something good”. All wines (minus the bubbles and SB) were tasted blind.
This was opened at the end of the night and this is up there with the best Bevan wines I’ve had to date. Wow. Iron fist in a velvet glove. Rich. Smells of the entire fruit spectrum with ripe raspberries, sweet blueberries and juicy-tart blackberries, along Mexican Vanilla and espresso. Creme de cassis, dark chocolate, sandalwood, nutmeg all combine to glide across the palate with glycerin like quality. Not for the faint of heart, but an absolute bombastic and delicious wine. Thanks, @Weston Eidson !

This is drinking beautifully right now. Velvety, plush, and caressing texture with blueberries, cocoa, and cinnamon.

May 25th, 2020This is really good for a 2011. Excellent density of fruit and a lovely texture. Some nice herbal accents around the edges. Really a gorgeous wine.
