Tonight's tasting last place wine. Initial aromas of leather and mocha, but then disjointed strong oak with heavy toast aromas. The oak aromas made it too strong to drink. Amazingly, after we ranked the wines—about 2 hours later—it seemed to settle down and got lots of red fruit flavors. Could use some bottle age.

Yes sir! One day opened and still a joy. These chaps know what's up with their vineyards. This is a tasty blend of Cab, Verdot, Merlot, and Syrah. Only 20% new oak. Smart.
