Can wine have a grapefruit aftertaste? Not that it’s a bad thing. It’s just different. It’s dry and not too bad outside of that.

Very few aromatics and flat tasting. Label stated full-bodied but I disagree. Typical Veneto in being light.

Surprisingly good for the price and year. Balance of dry and fruit. Not too fruit forward. For a young wine had good body. Good table wine for home

Full bodied for a Merlot reminds me of a baby Ameroni as there is a bit of sweet raisin on the pallette. Drinks nice

Quite mild on the nose, mostly berries and spices. Sharp, spicy and fruity on the palate. Thyme and cherry notes. Paired it with a cheese platter, quite good to drink on its own. Nice wine to enjoy on a cold November night
