Ripasso Valpolicella Corvina Blend

Softer side of Ripasso with red fruits and fennel. Medium bodied and lacking in complexity though easy to drink with Guanciale and aged Asiago. None of the raisinated character one would expect.

Solid Ripasso. For Amarone lovers without the patience.

Простой аромат, мокрая кожа и чернослив, оттенок малины, мускатный орех. Нетельное, кислотное, танинов почти нет, несмотря на указанные 9 месяцев в бочке. Присутствует минеральный вкус, пепельный такой, дополненный сухофруктами. Малиновое послевкусие. Несамостоятельное вино, как мне кажется, для дополнения мясных блюд, но вкусу близко к пино нуару. Пронзительно простое и интенсивное.

Solid though average ripasso. Took awhile to open up, but then offered chalky plum and black cherry fruit, plum skin tartness, and anise. Light reduction. Pretty short finish.

well made but not my thing

Raisin-esque, great with a hearty pasta dish, or eggplant parm

Average Ripasso. Nothing exceptional, but a good go-to wine with excellent berry flavours and a nice consistency.

Usual bright berries, I could use more grip out of it.
