@Delectable Wine this is the Grande Reserve, Hainfelder Letten.

Interesting PN. A suggestion of the old style of spatburgunder at first, but the oak is not overdone (drank alongside a 2019 Stodden JS for comparison). On the nose: sour cherry, sandalwood, soft coconut, more earthy notes. On the palate: lovely acidity, black cherry, slate. Perhaps a touch short, but soft, finely grained tannin on the spicy finish. I liked the JS more up front, but this is showing really well with about 8 hrs of air. Lovely now!
