Coffee syrup with a blackberry and bakers chocolate ribbon on the palate. A nose of mushrooms with carmelized vidalia onion also Mussels in a beef bouillon plum sauce. Mentholyptus, smoky blackberry on rye toast. A lot of winemaking meets warm climate here, but still a modicum of terroir; loamy and reedy. Mouthfeel like a steel plate or an oyster shell. Really kind of interesting.
